On 11 November, the First Conference of International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum of Boao Forum for Asia concluded in Macao. Li Baodong, Secretary-General of Boao Forum for Asia, Leung Wai-tak, Executive Chairman of presidium of ISTIF, Lau Wai-ming, President of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, attended and delivered speeches.
Delegates agreed that innovation is the fundamental driving force to lead development, and Asia's innovation and development has great potential. Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is rich in innovation and vitality, and the Boao Forum for Asia platform provides a boost to innovation. It is widely expected that Boao Forum for Asia will continue to take advantage of the international high-end dialogue platform to facilitate the promotion of international cooperation in innovation and the connection of innovation resources in Asia and the rest of the world.
At the press conference, Secretary General Li Baodong also announced that BFA would hold the Second Conference of International Science, Technology and Innovation Forum next year, which would be synchronized with an international science, technology and innovation exhibition to promote the transformation and application of more achievements.
